Blogging Children

So my kids wanted to start blogging and I told them they could have a private blog. But we had to do a few things before we could get started.

1. come up with a blog name for each of the girls

2. seeing if the name was available

3. pick the blog design and background

As much as we loved them we came up with a few different ideas together that we thought would work better in long run.

2. That was the easy part. I decided to make their blog name different than the title of their blog.

3. Let's just say there are way to many choices out there. The girls were overwhelmed so we just kept it simple and let them choose color, font, and layout! We'll get to the other stuff later!

They did have fun and are going to be keeping a blogging ideas journal all week and then posting on Fridays. I am hoping it helps them look at all the wonderful things around them, then share with family the things they were most excited about during that week. It makes me feel like I am teaching them to journal. I hope they are able to look back and see how much they grow over the years!
