We bought a beautiful home in Sigourney IA! It was originally built in 1912 and has an addition that is about 15 years old ( I think ).

There are a few projects we are working on (well Uncle Chuck is) but when it is done it will be awesome!

The house has six bedrooms so the kids are having fun decorating their rooms!
Sydney painted her closet pink and she is pretty much in heaven.

Georgia and Sophia painted their closet too!

My mom, Uncle Ben, Cindy, and Aunt Nadine saved me and painted the rest of the house! I'll post the before and after pictures soon! I couldn't have done it without my family! I am truly blessed!
Wow, beautiful place! I thought you guys were moving to Denver? Am I mistaken? We are moving to SLC in a few months. Not sure how I feel about it. I hope you love your new place. Looks like a great space! Thanks for sending me an update. Oh, and we are expecting number 4 in October! Yea!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the new house! it looks beautiful! looks like you will be very happy there. :)
ReplyDeleteHI Stephanie
ReplyDeleteI hope you remember me from Woodstock. I love your new home! I have a thing for old houses. Congrats on your baby you are expecting. I also wanted to tell you I liked your post on bloggers and blogging. I scrolled through your blog real quick and found it. I agree, there is a mold, and I get what you are saying about not fitting into it perfectly. I have decided that it is not worth letting yourself feel down about not fitting it, and it is so nice to just be me. So that means if I feel like doing all those things that DO fit the stereotype, great for me. But if I don't feel like doing them, I am still unique, and doing my best. Thanks for your thoughts on it. I enjoyed reading it. Good luck in your new location. Sometimes I wish we were more brave than we are, and would just move! I worry about the kids in new schools. You seem to have solved that problem. So maybe I should home school. But you are a better woman than me!
