4th of July

And so we begin, with Grandpa's fireworks show comes a true Iowa meal, corn on the cob!
It rained a bit so we hung out in the car.

Miles found a new love John Deere tractor toys, now Grandpa better get him one with his discount before he retires, hint hint!

On the 4th there was facepainting on the square, Georgia loves watermelon as you will see.

At the parade it was chilly but the girls still sported their 4th clothes!

My guys! By the way, I learned Miles does not like loud noises, he cried through the fire works and didn't like the fire engine sirens either!

The Greased Pig contest. The best reason to go to Sigourney, Ia for the 4th of July! Gabrielle was up first.

She got there first but lost her grip, those things are slippery, I can tell you this much. You get a great laugh watching these kids do this. Let me tell you, this is SERIOUS business in this town!

We stopped to see Grandma, she is 89, we love you Grandma.
