So, I was able to visit my favorite city in the world Chicago, thanks to my sister Elizabeth for watching my kids and Norm for taking me. As I got to meet up with friends, eat amazing food, see the set for the new transformers movie, and shop, I thought about how relaxing life was before kids...
But let's get real, these two smiling people wouldn't be smiling this much without them! They give us purpose and keep us going in a good direction.
I will admit though, I love eating a restaurants with out them (Especially Cafe Ba Ba Reeba) where the food is amazing and I can sit, talk and eat for hours!
Then back to reality, a good reality, where children are waiting, not for us to return, but to see what gifts there are for them; and of course there is always someone sad with the selection even when you asked each and every one of them if they wanted what you bought for them.
