We went to see the mineral exhibit and it was pretty amazing. They had tons of gold and beautiful gems there. They showed how to mine gems and had a man explaining all the different ways minerals can be used! The girls loved it.
After that section of the museum we went outside to have a picnic. The girls thought that was pretty cool, and said they wanted to do that next time too!
Of course the favorite exhibit of the day was the dinosaurs. You can never cease to be amazed with them no matter how many times you see them.
The coolest part was at the end, after you see all the dinosaurs, they have big glass windows that you can see people extracting the bones from the rocks! It seems so tedious. they had magnifying glasses and masks on so they didn't inhale the dirt! I could watch it all day, but wouldn't want to do it! The girls can't wait to see what is in store for next week!
