Distraction was really the word. I was trying to do home school with the girls but watching Grandma and Grandpa's drive way get torn apart was far more interesting (and noisy).
Grandpa was happy with the equipment choice, the picture I really missed was Grandpa and the neighbor "supervising" all the work.
Miles kept his post on Great Grandma's bench. I'm not sure I will ever see him sit still for that long again!
Grandpa set up chairs for the kids to watch the cement being poured. It was quite fun to watch them working. I have a whole new appreciation for their skills.
The new sidewalk and driveway look great and Grandma and Grandpa can't wait to add a new flower bed.
