After a morning of girls complaining they would rather be playing with their friends than hiking with their family, we drove to Golden Gate Canyon State Park. We began our first short hike near the visitors center! They had all sorts of things labeled for the kids to find!
The girls thought is was so cool that the trees were so tall!
We met up with our friends the Holt's and started the "hard" hike. With a two year old boy on my back, it was!
There was a long line of people! It was fun.

Miles was so tired by the end, he was not happy!
Not even throwing rocks into the pond made him happy!
By the end, everyone decided they were glad we MADE them come. It was so beautiful there. We can not wait for our next hiking adventure!
