Lessons learned by novice hikers!

1. You MUST have something to carry your two year old child that is NOT a babybjorn!
2. There is a reason I tell everyone to bring a jacket, I hope Norm and Savannah will remember next time! The mountains are beautifully cold!
Everyone else brought theirs!

3. Water is essential, and we did bring it. The problem was we had to carry it. There is really a reason they have special equipment for hiking!

4. I sat down to take a picture and a rock ripped my pants! You need hiking pants!

5. Being prepared can really can make all the difference for an enjoyable hiking experience! We did have a great time but next time will be even better!

  1. I hear, when it comes to pocket knives and flashlights, 2 is 1 and 1 is none. Always have at least 2 of the important stuff. Please email me your address when you get a chance. doctormom87@aol.com
