The kids have really taken to giving presentations about what they have learned during the week. They plan, find facts, do art or cooking projects, and I thought since they were SOOO excited about the Viking week I would share their work!
Savannah started us off with a viking biscuit and "soup" and taught us how they cooked in pits and cast iron pots. We are going to try some of that this summer.

Sydney made a model ship and told us how they stayed on top of the ship the whole time and were soaked with saltwater by the time they arrived at their destination.
I think I would have stayed home.

Georgia taught us how they were fair traders and everything had to be equal weight.

Bree taught us about their weapons and armor. Her foil models were a favorite!

Really it is just fun seeing them excited about learning and they are pretty darn cute too!
