What I have learned from bloggers and blogging...

What I have learned from bloggers and blogging...
I know nothing about it,
but I am learning.
I am not cool or trendy.
I hate searching for deals and making something new out of something old.
I wear my hair in a pony tail and jeans and a t-shirt most days.
Every Sunday my kids are amazed that I can look nice. If I ever look cute, it is because my best friend took me shopping and told me what to buy.
I am not "normal".
I love having babies (without drugs), I am expecting my seventh child in May.
I stay at home with my kids AND home school.
We have moved all over the country. I have lived in new houses, old houses, big houses, little houses, decorated houses, undecorated houses.
I love to quilt and sometimes it makes me sad that I don't get to do it more because most of my days are filled with things like, wiping butts, cleaning spills, switching laundry, sweeping, dishes, playing with my kids, teaching them new things, and learning new things.
I am a passionate person, when I feel something, it is with all my heart
(sometime when I shouldn't).
All of my kids are different, one loves to have order and organization in life, another just wants to have fun, one likes to get dressed (in an outfit) and do her hair everyday (those of you who knew me in high school know I barely brushed my hair before school), one loves to play sports, another wants to play computer games all day, and one likes to snuggle. And they are all teaching me to embrace our differences!
I love to do stuff with my family. I MAKE them go on day trips to the park, take field trips to the museum, play outside, go for walks. I love having meals together as a family and then wait to clean up the mess until the morning ( I am done at the end of the day, I am a morning person).
And to top it off I am married to a man who can handle a woman who wants all these things!
So what I have learned from bloggers and blogging, well,
it's o.k. that I love these things and having this as my life,
in fact, it is a good thing,
life is what you want it to be (most of the time, at least you can choose how you react to life),
My life and the people in it are just right for me!
Thanks bloggers and blogging!
p.s. I couldn't really find a picture of a pregnant woman with six kids

  1. Stephanie, I soooo love your blog! I'm going to add it to my blog roll. You are my kind of girl, and I'm just sad we didn't get to know each other better before you left!
